Does not work. plus the casing for hdmi was opened

The product didn’t actually work for me as i misunderstood its function. I thought it would convert my hdmi device into my older tv, but it turns out it works the other way around. That mistake was on my end. On top of that, the bulky external power source, messy cables, and occasional zaps made it frustrating to use.
